Final post for project 4

Finally this project 4 comes to the end
which means that this blog also should comes to the end
(Dunno future will i post something else here? haha, see how la)
Can say its a good ending, for my group, right?
at least the comment that give by the lecture is not too bad
No matter how is the result will be given
We are trying our best already
I satisfied with it
hoho

Happy with this project
that
I learn a lot form this project
no matter in idea thinking and also software skill
and also different point of view
Knowing that research also can comes in a lot of different special ways
(can by watch movie, experience myself....)

Strategy

Mr Sean always mention the word "strategy"

Yea...
for this project
we are planing some "strategy" for the presentation
And some for presentation thing that never show to Mr Sean before
I feel it is very nice,
in this project
at least I am trying a lot of things that I never try before
even some is so call "dare" and "dirty" in other people's eye
i feel it is a kind of fun
when do together with my group member
Feels crazy at that moment, but after that when i memories back is so fun

Final stage

Yea!! We are at final stage already!!

Few days later we will have the presentation and after that all this hecticness can be stop for a while

Location: Computer lab

(Ms Ruby are having class but pity us to have submission soon, thats why let us kacau here, I mean using the computer :P)

We are rushing for the final touch up on the website

Correct what ever that need to correct as well

Experiment

Recently we are working on illustration style, copy writing, and sounds
Its was so happy to said that,
the copy writing that we get
is quit suit to our content...
Hurray~~~
Yea,
we are notice that,
a good copy writing can affect on the mood of the work
a good copy writing can help to further subscribe a certain viewpoint too!!

Other than that,
we trying to search on the sound to fit our content,
we hope that with the sound,
we can enhance more on our mood...

Flow Chart

After so many times discussion with my group member and lecture
finally we are finalize our thing
such as...
concept, idea, mood...
and we comes out with our flow chart
As for this time,
we had spent a lot time in discussing the flow chart...
I realize that its very hard to produce a flow chart
A lot of thing we need to consider
(functional button)
(user friendly linking)
(how to create the overall mood )
(how to link to bring out the message the best and so on)
Its all a very important element to create a website
And...
Because Edvince is more experience in this,
this time he had share a lot of his thought for us
Thanks to him
Hahaha...
Ok la, after gao dim the flow chart
we can start to convert our idea into the screen...

Movie

Mr Sean recommend few meaningful movie for us...
i feel that,
these movie is like a bomb for us
previously, i never think that i will watch this type of movie
because i feel that i will never understand it
but really
as what my leader Edvince said
as our level now
(for me i think this mean at least i got a bit graphic design background)
we can experience different feel through the movie
understand the in dept meaning of the movie
not just only see the picture and feel boring

yea...

this thing we can make it as a reference for the project
we see thing not just see base on the surface
think deeper and deeper
look through the thing from different point of view
maybe you can have different experience on that same thing

Yea...it is...
As I am not to that high level yet...(haha)
I will try to see more this type of movie
try to think more...
try to get out of the box...
I will try...
I am learning...

Make the idea more solid...

After yesterday tutorial with Mr Sean
We more understand and more clear on what to do on our project

Yea...so
to make sure we are not lost by the way...
We start to refresh back start from the beginning...
Refer to the brief:
(base on my understanding)

-reread & relearn the city
(means understanding of KL)
(base on the choose item)

-looking at small differences in a group of similar objects
(Our item: Trashcan)
(similar^differences among them)

-create a field guide

What we are doing now...
-define an object
(we choose trashcan)
(create an overall mood for the trashcan...exp:sorrow)
(think what is the similarities and differences of the trashcan)

We are more clear on the direction after we done refresh back
trashcan...
so now...we decided
we will more focus on
"what trashcan see and what trashcan feel..."
as for we will go base on the trashcan point of view...
"what a dustbin can see in KL??"
"what is trashcan's feeling?"
"Is it sad? lonely? exciting? happy?..."

We will develop further more...
more post on the development come after this...

Tutorial before holiday~~~

Today was the second day tutorial with Mr Sean
we show him our idea development
such as our concept, our visual style experimentation, plan layout of the website...
and so on...
Felt so happy because Mr Sean was accept our idea
And he also give us some suggestion,
to make our idea and concept become stronger...
So, today overall tutorial was ok,
everything seems run smoothly...
haha...

Tomorrow we will go KL again
to retake some photo that we are lacking
and...
we are planning to do something exciting tomorrow
wowwwww...
It will be the 1st time for us

Discussion: Research and Experimant Visual Style

Today we have our group discussion
We discuss and choose some suitable photo
base on the mood that we want to create
so that we can apply it for our project
We also think of what is the 10-15 differences and similarities of our object
-dustbin
Decided to focus on the feeling mood and characteristic of the dustbin
-what is the dustbin think?
-what is the characteristic of the dustbin? (dirty? Clean? etc...)
Beside that,
we also try to experiment our visual style
Is it want it in computer illustration way??
Or hand drawn way?
Or...??
After that,
we all decided to go back experiment more and do more research...
since the next day we need to tutorial with Mr Sean
And it seems like will be the last tutorial before the chinese new year break
We really need to rush,
and something need to be settle fast
So that we can really enjoy our chinese new year...
